Hello Everyone!
Mike or “Muscle Man Mike” here! It’s an honor to be a part of the wonderful community of child education and entertainment for many years! I’m a New Jersey Native and grew up in West Orange and now reside at the Jersey shore! I have been involved in fitness for over 35 years and a Certified Trainer for Adults and Children.
I’m certified through AAAI/ISMA. I had the privilege in 1982 to be able to try out for the Professional Soccer Team NY Cosmos and practice with them in the Summer of 82’. I served proudly in the US Air Force from 84’-90’. I was a Fire Rescueman stationed in Southern California. That’s where my fitness journey began.
After training people in their homes for many years, I wanted to take the fitness passion to schools, libraries and functions educating children ages 2-8 years old. I wanted the presentation to be in the form of a unique show never seen before! I had this thought of combining storytelling, music, a puppet, movement, magic and much more!
With this in place, how about being a Super Hero! That’s when I thought of creating Muscle Man Mike! This character is not like any other. Let me explain in full detail. Even though I have many Super Hero Powers, I still manage to need a lot of help in my shows, and that’s where the real magic begins! I bring all the children into the show and they become magical helpers!
That’s what makes the character Muscle Man Mike so special. My shows are so engaging and full of total interaction. The children regardless of age will sit and be engaged for 35-40 minutes! I hope to see you soon! I love what I do, and that’s so important working with children!
