The Club Doors are Open!
When I was a child I always wanted to belong to a club like my parents. They belonged to a few clubs which they looked forward to interacting with the members weekly! Belonging to something unique is always special, especially for a child. I thought about what clubs would interest me if I was age 2-8. It didn’t take long for me to narrow down my list. I came up with about 5 clubs and picked these three (“Abracadabra” Club, “Move and Learn” Club and “What is this?” Club) Each club offers a different topic and different enjoyable experience.
The Move and Learn Club is an educational club discussing health and fitness along with exercise programs for the children to participate in. The beauty of this club is they can play the videos over and over again to exercise with me. Any type of approach that keeps them engaged and moving their body is a good thing. Today’s times are much different than 30 years ago. I went out after school and played with my friends. We created a world of movement, imagination, discovery without even knowing the benefits. Today, children have a technical world that surrounds them and they become a product of their environment. The environment sadly encourages a sedentary world. How can we encourage movement? They first need something they like and enjoy watching! That’s where Muscle Man Mike can make the difference! They love the character and trust that if I’m moving and exercising, then so will I. I always use the comical approach and they love to laugh. Who doesn’t love to laugh?
The Abracadabra Club is Muscle Man Mike at his best combining humor and magic together! I’ve developed a unique approach to bringing laughter and magic as one! I always make the children the stars and the magicians because I’m never sure how this magic thing is supposed to work out. The children love to help and become the real magicians! If you want kids to be captivated by your magical world, then make them feel like they have the magical powers. This may sounds like a simple formula, but it’s an art form that requires allot of listening and learning ears.
I struggled with my last club to pick from. I had a few ideas, but then it came to me that when I was young I had so many questions about what I was looking at right in from of me. I was always saying these words in my head, “What is this?”. It was obvious that I needed a club called the “What is this?” Club. The club is a discovery club! We discover things from past and present together. I can film objects every day that surround us. Allot of children have no idea what things are or maybe its history. It’s a fascinating approach to educating children and having fun with the Muscle Man Mike personality.
I wish I had these clubs to join when I was younger! That’s why I developed these memberships! You can join one, two or all three with the discounted VIP Membership.
